Day 8 – ‘H’
It took me a long time to get comfortable asking for help. And, if I’m being truthful, I still struggle with the idea of not being able to do things on my own. I don’t like the feeling of ‘being needy’.

In an earlier post, I talked about the importance of empowering others. A leader’s challenge is to cultivate relationships with their teams, and use that knowledge to equip them with the support needed to drive change. Leadership is an exercise in communication – the exchange of information between parties. The challenge for a leader is to see people like me, and to see how to reach us. They, like all of us, know a helping hand is always needed. But the challenge is knowing how, and when, to engage.
